Habitat: Basin covered with Distichlis spicata, Scirpus, Sporobolus, numerous other grasses and Cyperaceae, with Typha in the wettest spots. Ill spelling common erect annual in loose sandy igneous-derived soils. Ray and disk flts yellow. A weed near stone shelter.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
