Single rosette, leaves glaucous gray-green, flower stalk ca 5-1/2 - 6 m tall, 73 mm in diameter at ca 1-3/4 m from ground, inflorescence paniculate, lateral branches 18-20, ascending to perpendicular to stalk, down > 1/3 of stalk, visited by bees, hummingbirds, starling at 4:15 pm, flowers musky-sweet, ovary green flushed with maroon-purple-brown, neck green, tube light green, tepal lobe base light chartreuse becoming yellow distally, outer tepals with brown tips, filaments chartreuse green, anthers yellow, style chartreuse; flower measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm, beginning dehiscence: tl=54, 0=21x8, n=4, tu=9.5(l)x15(w), fil ins=8, fil=53, a=12, outer tepal lobe=19.5x7.5(base), 3(mid), inner tepal lobe=18.5x7.5(base), 1.75(mid), sty=40.
