Habitat: Mine tailings along riparian canyon in oak-juniper woodland.
Associated Species: Platanus wrightii, Quercus arizonica, Aralia humilis, Baccharis salicifolia, Agave palmeri, Juniperus deppeana, Juglans major, Populus fremontii, Amorpha fruticosa, Muhlenbergia tenuifolia, Eriogonum wrightii, Cercocarpus breviflorus.
Description: Annual grass, 30 cm; glumes hairy, unequal.
Notes: Duplicates to ARIZ, ASU, USON.
