Description:
Local, occasional, 1 pad high, 2/3 m wide x 1/2 m high, pads glaucous-green with maroon-purple tinge around areoles and pad edges, flowers collected 9 am: 58(l) x 85(w) mm, 58x70 mm (not as opened), hypanthium (hyp) 30x21 mm, moderately tuberculate, inner tepal 32x28 mm, broadly oblanceolate, outer tepals light chartreuse-green midstripe, light pink margins, inner tepals pink, filaments yellow-light chartreuse basally, light yellow distal 1/2, anthers light yellow, style white, stigma lobes green; flowers opened 3 June 2016, 1 pm: 60x80 mm, rotate, inner tepal 33x30 mm, broadly oblanceolate, notched at apex, outer tepals light pink with narrow light olive green midstripe, darker at apices, inner tepals light pink, filaments light yellow-light chartreuse basally becoming yellow distal 1/2, anthers light yellow-yellow, style white, stigma lobes dark green.
